The World’s Most Luxurious and Expensive Limousines

by in Lifestyle

A limousine has always been a synonym to luxury which makes it one of the most expensive vehicles on the planet. If someone is buying a limousine, you can never expect him/her to care about the mileage, price-tag, or even the performance of the car, all that’s on their mind is a luxury and how good of a return they are getting for the money they are paying. You can easily rent out such a luxurious vehicle to drop an impression wherever you go, but some of these exotic vehicles are way above the budget of rent as well and are a one-piece. Here we have compiled a list of some of the most expensive and luxurious limousines up to date.

1. The American Dream

To begin the list of the world’s most ridiculously luxurious vehicles would be an absolute cheap shot if it weren’t to begin with Jay Ohrberg’s 26 wheeled monster. Based on the 1970s Caddy Eldorado, the making of this long-hauled limousine sunk in millions of dollars, several limos, and over a decade of labor to bring it into the shape that would be regarded by the Guinness Book of World Records as the longest vehicle.

Jay Ohrberg’s showcase of a limo wasn’t just a long tube hard to maneuver on the road (Yes, it required two drivers to drive it!) but also featured every luxury that one can imagine. It featured a long stretch of space that had an on-deck swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, a water bed, a featured bar, and a Helipad! Who would have ever thought of including a Helipad on a vehicle? Although it was a big shot of its time, it has been left out to be eaten away by rust as your suspicious about driving it are in place. It has been taken in by a museum in NY to be overhauled and showcased as the best it once was.

2. Rolls Royce Silver Spur Stretch (Gold Plated)

It is only natural for any Rolls model to make the list of the most expensive and luxurious vehicles but getting an exclusive gold plated model made out for your wedding day? That’s something only Hassan Bolkiah, the Sultan of Brunei can pull off as if the Rolls Royce Silver Spur Stretch wasn’t enough of luxury on its own.

The car definitely makes the list of the world’s most expensive cars as the entire car had been plated with 24-carat gold, along with the wheels. The interior had exclusive modifications to stuff in gold anywhere possible, making the total price of the car rise up to $14 million! But that is still just another parking space in Hassan’s garage as he is known to have the greatest and most expensive collection of private cars that has a total worth of over $4 billion.

3. The Boeing 727 Jet Limo

The number of people building, selling, and buying such ridiculously expensive ride with ideas no one would’ve thought about is overwhelming enough for us to rank them over these articles. What would be next after a jet limo? People putting wheels on luxury ships, working the numbers, and somehow making it street legal?

The Boeing 727 was the most produced and sold jet of its time that saw its end in the 90s, which brought the attention of some limo company in Guadalajara Mexico to bring it on the road. The idea of bringing a jet on the road requires skills and creativeness as much as it does being crazy! With the tail cut, the total weight of 24,000 pounds put on the chassis of a Mercedes bus to make it comfortably reach the speeds of over 120 mph. The Jet limo is as absurd from the inside as it is from the exterior, it features seating for nearly 40 people, with a featured dance floor, retractable screens, private room, lighting, and everything you need to get a party going on the road! The even more absurd fact about this limo is that it got posted on eBay and actually got sold for nearly $300k over a decade ago, the price of the limo now is around $1 million.

4. The BatLimo

There aren’t many people around the world that aren’t familiar with the Bat-Mobile from Tim Burton’s Batman movie. Talk about being a hardcore fan of the comics and movies, but are you crazy enough to recreate the iconic Bat-Mobile in real life? Wait, let me make it better, are you crazy enough to recreate it and then stretch it out even more to be a luxurious head-turner on the road?

Some fans went all out in New York when he started working on the biggest project of his life when he set out to recreate the iconic car and make a limousine out of it. The BatLimo is built on the engine of a corvette and recreated as a completely identical to the one in the movie. While it features the guns, missiles, and rocket launchers alright, it also features a bar and luxurious space with lights to give you a more extravagant Batman experience. It took nearly $4 million to complete the project in 2012 when it was finished and is surely one of the baddest boys out there today.

5. The Midnight Rider

The list of the most luxurious limos is always incomplete without the mention of the southern Californian party rig that got its title in 2004. The 25-ton beats come with a crew of five that includes an operation manager and a bartender for the on-deck bar.

It also has three separate lounges, each with its own bar, projected screen, phones, and luxurious seating to house around 50 people. The best part about this party rig is that it is available for rent on an hourly basis, which of course is not cheap, but definitely worth every penny if you’re looking to party exuberantly hard on the road.
